This highly detailed cross-section model of a turbine generator included a removable section to allow visibility and manual rotation of the complex turbine shaft and flex-bearing. Most of the delicate bearing configuration was built up from laser-cut acrylic components. The model was generously color-coded for easy identification of specific details.
